booked combination airfare/car rental with hotwire.com. The flight was cancelled and unable to pick up car.
Called rental car company for refund. There is no person to talk to. The recording stated to call the third party who made the reservation. I have called hotwire over 10 times and put on hold for long periods of time.
After being disconnected or just hanging up on them out of frustration, they never called me back. Finally asked to speak with a supervisor, put on hold again. They said they are trying to locate a supervisor. I have not heard from them yet.
I will never book with hotwire again.
They should not be promoting car rental companies with no customer service. I will try to resolve this with the credit card company.
