This company one of their higherups named Angel Mendoza has an decided to call in one of the subscription cars as stolen. 24 hrs after the bill didnt post just once.
We had the car for litterally YEARS at this point so he calls it in stolen for one day billing dispute NEVER bothered to contact anyone about it, he reports it and a good friend of mine was arrested and charged with recieving stolen property and vehicle theft. He was in the process of moving to Vegas when this occured and so all of his personal belongings are in the vehicle he goes to jail and this was two months ago we had to bail him right out and wouldnt you know it since then we havent been able to get his stuff back from this company. His dad just passed and he had his dads ashes and personal things and his things all in the car. This company picked the car up in san bernadino and brought it bacj here packed and just give us the ryn around for two months now.
Not to mention he says in his email that unauthorized people he will call on again. Well its a corp subscription and our friend is an authorized driver for us and last but kot least ye still has not followed through and called and got the charges dropped

I had very minor damage (scratches on underneath front bummer- damn low riding BMW) and they assessed it at almost $2000. I paid this immediately April 2023.
However I kept getting emails about owning the money. I called (multiple times) and sent proof of payment and was told that this was an accounting issue and the rep said they said the payment and it was being taken care of / not to worry. Less than a year later I get an entry from a collection agency on my TransUnion report for the full amount. Already contacted TransUnion and filed a dispute .
Called SIXT only to be told Id have call accident department. What their accounting systems arent linked. Overall these guys seem to be the kings / queens of bait and switch, I asked for a Jeep Wagoneer SUV and the said they had a BMW 4 door. Like asking for a motorcycle and getting a golf cart!
They tried to upsell on everything they sell. My advice, still with traditional brands!
I have a as exhausted from my flight and they took advantage of me and to add insult to injury are making me go through this mess! Jerks!

I made a reservation for an SUV (Toyota Rav4 or similar) via Expedia for $347.04 and an $84 Generali insurance for 7 days with a total of $431.04 .
At the Oahu Airport the clerk told me that he has an amazing deal for me and the BMW X5 40i was down to $28.80 per day and asked me if I want to upgrade to this car, at that moment I asked if this new deal is similar to the deal that I already had and he said that is a little bit more expensive but he showed me a total of about 600$ and I said ok, it is ~$150 more but I'll drive a premium car and I accepted.
I would agree that I didn't pay enough attention to the invoice provided because I trusted the clerk and it turns out that the initial reservation was used as a credit for the new car and the $28.80 that the clerk told me that is the price for the BMW per day was on top of the price I already paid for the Rav4 and it was detailed in the invoice as a "Choice Upgrade", and on top of that a new field in the invoice shows a "Loss Damage Waiver" 7 x $35 that I didn't verbaly agree to because I knew I already have the Generaly insurance that I bought from expedia (so the $84 Generali insurance went down the drain). All together the total got to $866.67 + $84 = 950.67 which is not at all near the $431.04 price that I initially paid for the reservation.
I would like to say that the clerk should have said that the $28.88 are on top of what I already paid and I would not have accepted the upgrade for sure. He was misleading and instead of making clear that what I already paid is just credit to the new car he showed me a screen with the remaining amount to be paid which looked normal( just a little bit more expensive than the car I reserved) and made me to accept.
Eventough, I'm not sure if you will reimburse any amount to me, I want to make clear that these tactics are detrimental to your bussiness and I will never do bussiness with you nor recommend you.
Yes, I drove the BMW and it was nice but I thought I drive it for about $600 and I would have never paid $950 to drive it.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. After I send a message through you, they didn’t answer for like two weeks maybe and then on Saturday they sent us a email saying that they were gonna see what happened and see if they can help us with something and then yesterday they they send They sent an apology and the refund of the insurance that we wouldn’t supposed to pay
This time I reserved the car, it was the same insurance plan, because the lady at the checkout told me that that was not the one I needed. The person at the cashier commented that the insurance that I had taken out did not cover international people even though I had chosen the insurance on the Sixt home page where at no time is it mentioned whether or not it is for international people, It cost me 250 dollars more than I had planned, this made my rent reach more than 1000 dollars, for that I would have chosen another company that offered me a better car and insurance at a better price, I returned to sixt trusting that my previous experience It had been very good but now I really feel that they took advantage of me and the situation that as a tourist you do not know the laws well or trust what you are told.
But later when I reviewed my bill from two years ago I realized that they really took advantage of me, I have the previous contract where nowhere is it mentioned that this insurance is not for international people and the new contract does not even state the amount per day, It is simply an arbitrary amount that the cashier set up to get more money from us. It really bothers me because I feel like they deceived me and took advantage of me.

Verified Reviewer |The vehicle we rented from Sixt broke down in the middle of the desert
We rented our vehicle from Sixt and the reservation code is 950266****. Just about an hour away from Vegas our vehicle stopped and did not work.
Engine oil hot/Idle Engine warning was on the screen. We immediately pulled over and called Sixt. Although we told them we were an hour away from Vegas, they couldnt find a vehicle to be replaced from Vegas and instead ordered one from Los Angeles which is four hours away from where we are. With two kids in the car, no water and things to eat, we were made to wait in the car very near to the road where trucks went closely in thunder light speed.
My complaint is about two things mainly( one of which is that although the break down of the vehicle had nothing to do with us no proper solution was offered to us. A vehicle from Sixt could have sent to us at least to go to our hotel safely with our children. Waiting on the middle of the desert four hours with children wanting to go to the toilet, hungry and thirsty is really something no one would want to be faced with. We are on holiday and so far it is ruined by the vehicle we rented from Sixt.
Secondly, the truck driver and the second person I spoke to who was a lady tried their best to help us but the first gentleman I spoke to mechanically tried to guide us but made us feel bad in a way that when we asked for a better option and solution acted as if we asked for something absurd or meaningless.
Now I am asking how our unfortunate situation which is caused by the vehicle we rented from Sixt be compensated? Thank you.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I had to email them several times, and called several times. It took them over a week to get the over charges put back on my card.
It took a very long time for to pull up the details on my rental, and when I offered the confirmation number she just ignored me. After a while she said that I needed to show her my flight ticket(and I showed her my train ticket) which she looked at, then she told me that I was a local rental. I am not local( I live almost 150 miles away) and that is definitely not local. She gave me an excuse about that I have to be traveling from out of state.
I have rented from SIXT before at other locations throughout the country and never had this bit of terrible customer service. I asked to speak to the manager, and he came out and she explained to him and he told me that I should have rented from the downtown location. Another Representative pulled up the regulations(the same ones that I read when booking this rental) and then the manager said it was ok. After standing there almost an hour going back and forth with the rep.
I felt hamulated and did not feel that they appreciate my business.
After returning the vehicle early, I received my receipt, then two days later, the overcharged my card $50 more than what I was booked for. I bought the car back in immaculate condition and filled the tank back up to full.

It was a nightmare!! I rented a Mazda cx 90 ..
in Nashville Tennessee. My back drivers side tire a leak so I had to stop to get air 3 times . Called Sixt to see if I could replace the vehicle with another vehicle, but they told me they didnt have a place in Nashville . So l Called roadside assistance that night 10:30pm Darren Wells doesnt want to come out to fix the flat tire because hes 1 1/2 hrs away he told me *** come in the morning.
Because were leaving early in the morning. I said please come now and can you bring a full size spare . He didnt like that answer so he called his boss Justin Cardenas and he called me saying I was swearing at hes guy. I said a never swear at him .
He said remember were doing you a favor . I said no youre not its your job. Darren WELLS come out fix the tire put the donut on .. next morning called SIXT for help ..
boy did I get the round around spoke to Gayle got disconnected they never called me back called again on hold again for an 1hour spoke to Andrea she said l have to call roadside assistance. I said can you contact me to customer service. She said I have to call roadside assistance. She connected me roadside assistance waited an 1 hour and 15 minutes remember I have two little kids ..
finally I got Camille boy was she terrible she gave some places to bring the truck to get fix all wrong places l called again they told me theres nothing they could do. I said really wow . What do I do .. finally I look for a place to fix the flat.
Now I find a place MARATHON gas station. But I have to leave the truck there for 5 hours because they have no help. So I leave the truck and take Uber. Finally l get truck back called SIXT on hold 1hr 15 minutes.
They said when you bring the truck back CARLOS BACIGALUPO the manger will reach out to you . Again a day goes by dont hear nothing. Called again I spoke to Justin in claims told him the hold story he connected me to Michelle from customer service she said I need a claim number I said nobody told me . She did nothing passed the buck Michelle said Ill have a manger reach out to you in 48 hours .
I said ok I call again and again 1hour wait on the phone they did nothing.. finally I emailed CARLOS he emailed me back 9 hrs later and said his out of the officer *** call me tomorrow. Next day dont hear from him until 7:00 pm . I asked him to call me he did l explained what happened he really didnt care .
He said Ill look over the paperwork and get back to you. Two days later he emails me and said Im giving you $50.00 . They ruin my trip with my kids.
I will never rent a car there again remember I only had a flat tire and they could fix it.. DAVID McNALLY

Sixt US Customer Service Is The Worst I Have Ever Seen
Issue pertaining to payments and future payments in the US.
I have called Sixt multiple times, the first time, I was on hold for over an hour after someone picked up after 15 minutes before putting me back on hold and then forgetting all about me. The other two times have been on hold for over half an hour, with a response that someone will get back in touch with you within 14 working days!
Email queries have also gone unanswered other than the thank you for your email someone will get back to you as soon as possible or whatever time frame it is, that was over two weeks ago and it is a no-reply email!
On the rare occasions, someone has answered the phone they clearly have no clue what to do. I work for a US-registered company but am located outside of the US and even I know what a W-9 tax verification form is, these guys do not have a clue, even when you ask to speak to someone in finance, clueless and useless. We are going to have to put them on a blacklist of who not to use just because of their incompetence in not being able to provide a W-9 form which is standard practice. I have been trying to get a copy of this form for over a month now.
It's shocking, I don't get paid to spend hours on end sitting on hold listening to mundane and clearly not correct in their messaging on hold music.
Sadly I have to keep trying as I need this damn form and I am running out of ideas maybe I may get lucky and speak to someone who has a slight inkling of what is going on ... but I won't hold out.

My rental was for 461and some change got charged 691 and some change when I look at the receipt you guys charged me 203 dollars for fuel when is was told by the young lady working on the day I picked up the rental witch was originally suppose to be a bmw x7 that I had reserved and when I get there it was not available so the young lady who got me the rental offered me a free tank of fuel if I take the BMW x5 for the Inconvenience of not having the x7 so here we are I'm waiting for my 200 dollar deposit witch I never received and you also charged my credit card for 29 Dollars and some change as well that no one could give me an answer for so I would like to get reimbursed my deposit and want you guys to honor what you guys offered me for inconvenience of not having the rental I originally reserved and what was the 29 dollar charged about as well did not authorize that charge

I rented a vehicle from this company through expedia. My travel got extended and I wanted to add an extra day at the beginning.
This was more business for the company- more money for them! And yet- there was no way to do it. I couldn't add through expedia nor would Sixt customer service rep allow me to book the extra day.
If a customer wants additional time, they should easily be able to extend their contract and pay for the extra time. The policy is putative to the customer and took away business from the company.
I had to cancel my reservation- no options available and take a $100 cancellation fee.
Absolutely terrible business practice.
Instead of getting more business- my intent- they lost all of my business. This is worth a discussion around the board table.

I'm 79 bed ridden on dialysis 5 days a week for 6 hours. Code enforcement has fined me SINCE I haven't been able to cut it the fines turned into a lien.
I'm NOT SURE HOW LONG IT WILL BE BEFORE WE ARE HOMELESS. STILL IT DOESN'T SEEM REAL.

That is a poor comparison at best. One has nothing to do with the other and your attempting to obscure severity with stupidity by making a qualifier statement to down play the severity if the offense. Its all subjective that is why they are called reviews not testaments.
