£415 fir weeks car hire .. Oh its best to get full to empty cos there are no garages here .one 1 mile away then charged for someone to fill it when brought back.. Pay in £ then get charged 4% for privilege.. Wouldnt except doyou spain insurance.. Got two cars in Denver, was charged an upgrade fee even though they were the only cars left! And I don’t believe that one bit. I received four bills via email? This company is terrible and I would stay away if you can. They gave me a car with a tire that blew out an hour after renting. Clearly not my fault. I called their national hotline and they told me to get it replaced. After I spent three hours and $350 doing so, they refused to reimburse me after I returned it. Kept the good tire and left me with the faulty one. Complete CROOKS!!!!!!!

Sixt - Got extra charges without my consent

I rented a car from SIXT about two month ago. The rental car got checked by SIXT inspector when I returned it in Morocco. And I was clear to go without signing anything to be responsible for any damage. However, after I returned to US, I received an unknown charge from SIXT. I called SIXT, they told me it is a damage charge. I asked a few times by email about what kind damage was that, I still haven't got an answer. We flew 18 hours from Seattle- the plan was late . After arriving at Malta airport had to spend another 30 min in line for car. Finnaly, we were announced that we are later for business hours ( that was 17:30 ) and had to pay additional 17 euros. I try to argue that there was a sign of business hours (till 20:00). The representative was very rude and disrespectful. I spent an hour try to get the car . They did not have automatic ( as I requested) and rent price was higher and that was endless amount of additional fees and fines. During our stay we used the car twice. We wasted a lots of money and stepped into the very bad company recket and attitude. Most unpleasant experience I ever had renting the car. Never again through this “company” Shocked

Bait and switch. They tactics are deceptive and stay away from this company at all costs.

I had reserved a Mercedes at a reasonable price on my last trip to San Diego. The representative told me because I was a new customer, would I like to upgrade. I asked how much that would cost. The price was about the same as the 5 day rental on the Mercedes.

He failed to tell me that the price was by the day, not the entire 5 day period. Never ever again will they see my face.
