Reservation not honored, resulting in additional cost to me as I had to find an alternative without a reservation. I made a reservation for a car 4 weeks in advance, upon arrival at the airport on the day of the rental, the company was not able to honor the reservation siting "amateur" reasons such as customers did not return cars on time, weather, flight cancellations etc.

They made accommodation at a low quality no name brand local rental provider that had a total of one car, as this was not suitable, I had to find my way back to the airport with my family from the no name brand rental company and take a car from a legitimate renal company "Avis" at full price because I did not have a reservation. SIXT is an unreliable company to do business with, in 20 years of renting experience for business and personal use, I have never had such a bad experience.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $225.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
